We wean our foal when the mare and foal tell us.

Which is around 3.5 to 4 months of age depending on how each foal is doing in the growth and maturity.

Terms for purchasing a foal:

At least 20% deposit (non-refundable) will hold the foal until weaned. The balance of the foal must be paid for with cash when picking up the foal. Unless foal is  paid for and picked up at the time arranged, the sale shall be null and void. Any money paid will not be returned. If arrangements need to be made to hold the foal after the specified date, board will be charged per month.
