I know times are hard, so we will take payments under a contract.  The horse will not leave our farm until the horse is paid for.
We will also charge board (depends on the hay prices). We will do our best to take care of the horse, but if the horse gets hurt it is at buyers expense.

We sell most of our horses with halters and lead ropes.

If one of our horses is leaving the state of Iowa,

We will have a current Coggins (takes 7-10 days to get)

and Health Papers ready for you.

International Health papers at buyers expenses.



Horses priced under $500 the buyer is responsible for health and coggins


We wean our foal when the mare and foal tell us.

Which is around 3.5 to 4 months of age depending on how each foal is

doing in the growth and maturity.



We will accept a personal check on a deposit but not for final payment.

A couple wrote us a bad check and never made good on it.

We have several ways that you can pay.

Wal-mart has a way to pay. We also take paypal and Credit Cards.




Terms for purchasing a horse:



At least 20% deposit (non-refundable) will hold a horse for 14 days so transportation can be arranged. The balance must be paid with a cash or wire transfer for the horse within 14 days, and horse picked up. Unless horse is paid for within that time, and arrangements to be picked up, sale is null and void and any money paid will not be returned. If arrangements need to be made to hold the horse longer than 14 days, board will be charged per month.



Terms for purchasing a foal:

At least $500 deposit (non-refundable) will hold the foal until weaned. The balance of the foal must be paid for with cash when picking up the foal. Unless foal is  paid for and picked up at the time arranged, the sale shall be null and void. Any money paid will not be returned. If arrangements need to be made to hold the foal after the specified date, board will be charged by the month.


If a horse / foal is marked "Sale Pending", means we have a deposit and we are holding it for a customer. Sometimes deals don't go through, so if you see a horse / foal you are interested in, let us know, and we will let you know if it becomes available.

If a Horse / Foal is marked "Private Treaty" , means we can assess what a person needs, their budget and work something out.  Priced Higher to some but depending on circumstance, can be lowered greatly to fit.

ARE LOST BY NEW OWNERS, TO REPLACE THEM.


IF BREEDING CERTIFICATE IS LOST BY MARE OWNER
MARE OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO REPLACE THEM
AND BRING THE CERTIFICATE TO US TO SIGN.
