Hi Everyone.
In October I will be heading to Washington DC to participate in a 3 day cancer walk in memory of my best friend Carrie Lynn Serviss Schueller. Carrie recently lost her battle with cancer and left behind 2 young children.
Carrie was only 32 years old and died on June 21, 2009. She died with 7 brain tumors, cancer in her back bone, ribs, legs, and liver. She was a true fighter. She first found the cancer in 2001. Then shorlty after that they discovered her 3 year old daughter had cancer in her leg. Carrie had a very hard life and long battle, but she never gave up and always had a positive attitude. I never once heard her complain in the 8 years she battled the cancer. She went through a lot....countless treatments, several surgeries, and never ending pain. I have always and will always admired Carrie for her courage and determiniation. I want to do something to honor her memory.
A dear friend of mine and Carrie's thought it would be a great tribute to Carrie to walk in the Cancer Walk in Washington, DC in memory of Carrie. I really want to do this, but I first need to raise $2,390 to be able to walk for Carrie. I am asking for your help! Please help me walk for Carrie! I would truly appreciate any donations!
